Counting Holes by AlexeiSolha Counting Holes by AlexeiSolha
... and wondering how many of them it takes to fill a soul.

this work is dedicated to my wife, nayah. we just hit 15 years together on sept. 24, with lots of wonderful moments to remember, for sure... though, the focus of this piece is the continuous learning on how to deal, to share and heal -when possible- the holes of our souls. with more 15 years, i may get a degree in this area, if i'm lucky... or, i may be devoured by a big, big black hole that i inadvertently let grow within us. :)

An AMAZING translation that lands on the eye like a fly that gives your pupil a massage with it's feet...rather than immediately annoying you into the instinctive 'shu away' action !

*just staring wide-eyed ......enjoying my eyeball fly-foot massage *

You've outdone yourself...hell ..youve outdone everybody ....lol

Thanks, man!
There's no great secret. Basically, it's just a matter of choosing one of the blending options to the bone layers, and play with opacity levels . Some tonal and contrast adjustments and it's done. ;)

As far as I remember, I have never really read about that, but I know the theory and the idea of a correspondence between the mental and physical worlds sounds very interesting and believable to me. Also, to a certain extent, I like the insight it gives on the differences between sexes, however, I find myself backtracking when it comes to justify the immortality of the spirit and the existence of God.

I love anything cerebral, it's very fascinating on how the mind can invent/perceive things, even things we can't see or prove empirically, like God or so. I'm a big fan of Jung's work, who believed that spirituality was essential to the human mind as an invention of necessary protection, but not one that is wrong entirely.

glad i inspire you. it means a lot! if there are three guys who always had a direct influence on me, since the very first moment that i stumbled upon your works, it’s you, stitchpuller and cades2k4… btw, not adding you to my journal was a big mistake, to say the least. i’m fixing it right now.
thank you very much for the recent favs and comments.
